Ultrashape FAQ Velashape Treatments FAQ

Elos Sublative®

This Elos treatment is ideal for reducing fine lines and wrinkles as well as scar reduction. Elos Sublative treatments can correct unwanted textural changes and help to tighten your skin. Elos is safe and effective on all skin types, and has little-to-no downtime.

What Is Elos Plus Sublative Rejuvenation?
Sublative Rejuvenation is a non-laser and non-light based treatment. Instead the use of bipolar radio frequency is employed to rejuvenate skin, typically in three to five treatment visits.
Sublative Rejuvenation improves:

  • Wrinkles
  • Acne scarring
  • Skin imperfections
  • Dark circles under eyes
  • sagging skin
  • Skin lesions
  • Surgical scars

How it works
Sublative Rejuvenation penetrates the skin in order to boost collagen production. The preservation of the skin’s top layer is why the down time is so minimal if any at all. Prior to treatment, it is important to avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 2-4 weeks for optimal results.

Results
Most patients see results after their first treatment. However, the skin will continue to improve for up to six months after treatments. This is a collagen-boosting treatment; therefore, results are long-lasting. Like most aesthetic procedures, some maintenance treatments may be necessary after a year to enhance and maintain results.

Recovery phase
Sublative Rejuvenation recovery is typically a day or two. You can apply makeup the next day.

Is the treatment right for me?
In general, at least 3 treatments are recommended, each being performed 4 to 6 weeks apart. Topical anesthetic cream is applied before the treatment. Patient may feel a warm prickly sensation during treatment, which is usually well-tolerated. After treatment, slight redness, similar to sunburn, is to be expected, this should resolve within a few days. The downtime is minimal compared to other ablative and non-ablative fractional laser treatment, so most patients can quickly resume their daily activities. The treatment has also been shown to be safe for all skin types.
